OPERATING THE 8pre AS AN INTERFACE
Here is a typical studio setup for using the 8pre as
an audio interface. All mixing and processing can
be done in the computer with audio software.
During recording, you can use the 8pre’s CueMix™
DSP no-latency monitoring to listen to what you
are recording via the main outs, headphone outs,
or any other output pair. You can control
monitoring from the included MOTU CueMix
Console software.
