13.3.19.3 IP Firewall Rules
Create firewall rules to let any computer to send traffic to, or receive traffic from, programs, system services, computers
or users. Firewall rules can be created to take one of the three actions listed below that match the rule’s criteria:
• Allow a connection
• Allow a connection only if it is secured through the use of Internet Protocol security
• Block a connection
Rules can be created for either inbound or outbound traffic.
To view the IP firewall rules:
1. Select the
Statistics
menu from the Web UI.
2. Select
System
from the navigation pane (on the left-hand side of the screen), expand the default node and select an
access point for statistical observation.
3. Select
F
irewall
and expand the menu to reveal its sub menu items
.

5. The
IP Firewall Rules
screen displays the following:
Precedence
Displays the precedence value applied to packets. The rules within an
Access
Control Entries
(ACL) list are based on precedence values. Every rule has a
unique precedence value between 1 and 5000. You cannot add two rules with
the same precedence.
Friendly String
This is a string that provides more information as to the contents of the rule.
Hit Count
Displays the number of times each WLAN ACL has been triggered.
