Receiving a Multimedia 
Message

When you receive an MMS message, your phone 
displays the

 (message waiting) indicator and a 

New Message

 notification, and sounds an alert.

MMS messages that you receive can contain the following 
media objects:

Pictures, and animations are displayed as you read 
the message.

•

A sound file begins playing when its slide is displayed.

•

Attached files are added to the end of the message.
