5.7 Connecting Your Phone to Another
Device
You can connect your phone to a computer or
hand-held device using a USB cable.
Note:
Not all devices are compatible with all types of
connections. Check your external device for specifications.
The use of wireless devices and their accessories may be
prohibited or restricted in certain areas. Always obey the
laws and regulations on the use of these products.
5.7.1 Setting Up a Cable Connection
Attach a Motorola Original™ USB cable to the phone and
external device as follows.
Note:
Check your computer or hand-held device to determine
the type of cable you need.
Brightness

adjust the brightness/contrast
level of the display. This does not
affect the outgoing video image.
Setup
set up camera settings:

captures a “mirror” image (only

Plug the end of the
cable with the
Motorola logo into
the phone’s
accessory connector
port. Make sure that
the logo and the
phone are both facing you.
