Chat
The Chat feature allows you to have a “chat-like” experience on your Personal
Communicator. During a chat session, you can send and receive messages with up
to five other people. The series of messages exchanged between the chat members
are visible to all members of the chat session, allowing each member to scroll
through the conversation.
Note:
Non-V101 users can be included in a chat session. However, these users
receive each message separately (they cannot scroll through the entire
conversation history, but can view the conversation by reading each message
individually). In addition, any replies sent by a non-V101 user are sent only to the
originator of the message and not to the entire chat group.
During the course of the conversation, you can send a private message to a member
of the chat group and block specific members from receiving messages.
Text messages sent to you while in Chat mode are not placed in your received
messages folder. You have to end the chat session to receive text messages.
