Phone Operation
The Personal Communicator is designed to be used with a headset for talking and
listening. When placing or receiving a phone call, you must use the headset and
speak directly into the microphone.
Body-worn Operation
To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines, if you wear a phone on
your body when transmitting, always place the phone in
a Motorola supplied or
approved clip, holder, holster, case, or body harness for this product.
Use of
non-Motorola-approved accessories may exceed FCC RF exposure guidelines.
If
you do not use a body-worn accessory, ensure the antenna is at least one
inch (2.5 cm) from your body when transmitting
.
Data Operation
When using any data feature of the
Personal Communicator
, with or
without an
accessory cable,
position the Personal Communicator and its antenna at
least
one inch (2.5 cm) from the body.
