Symbol DS3407 Product Reference Guide

Beeper Definitions

The digital scanner issues different beep sequences and patterns to indicate status. 

Table 2-1

 defines beep 

sequences that occur during both normal scanning and while programming the digital scanner.

A bar code symbol was decoded (if decode beeper is enabled).

A transmission error occurred when scanning a symbol. The data is 
ignored. This occurs if the digital scanner is not properly configured.

Conversion or format error.

Out of memory. There is not enough buffer space to store the current
