Set the high/low switch on the public safety speaker micro-
phone to the “low” position to monitor audio at a low volume;
for a high volume level, set the switch to the “high” position.
G.
To transmit using the public safety speaker/microphone, press
the PSSM’s PTT and speak into the microphone’s grille area.
The red light-emitting diode (LED) on top of the radio will light,
indicating that the radio is in the transmit mode.
SECONDARY AUDIO ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT
The public safety speaker/microphone’s earphone jack is to be
used with non-threaded, 3.5mm-plug accessories, such as
AARLN4885, RLN4941, and WADN4190.
