OPERATION

TURNING THE PAGER ON/OFF

To turn on the pager, press 

. The pager vibrates or

sounds whichever alert tone is currently set, briefly
displays the start-up message (programmed by your
dealer), then the power indicator (

) and time/date

display appear.

Note: When the private time feature is on (see “Using
Private Time” on Page 39), the power indicator ap-
pears as 

.

To turn off the pager, press 

 

 so 

OFF?

 appears.

Then press 

 again. All display characters disap-

pear except for the time and date.

Note:  The pager does not receive pages when it is
off.
