Tip:
You can make a call with the slider closed. Select a
phone number stored in your contacts, then press
N
to call the number. (To store a number in Contacts, see
page 23.)
answer a call
When your phone rings and/or vibrates, open the slider
or press
N
to answer.
If you’re listening to music or the FM radio through a
headset, the phone rings as usual when you receive a
call. Press
Answer
to answer the incoming call through
the headset. If the headset doesn’t have a microphone,
use the phone microphone to speak to the other party.

To hang up, press
P
. If the

feature is set
correctly, you can close the slider to end the call (see
page 30).

To call a phone number stored in your contacts:
From the home screen, press keypad keys to enter the
first letters of the contact name (one keypress per
letter). The phone shows the contact name(s) that
match your keypresses.
