You can use the following options to enter text on your touchscreen.

Type:
Enter letters by touching them one at a time (like on a computer).

Gesture:
Enter a word by tracing a continuous path through the letters. When you lift your finger
after the last letter of a word, a space is automatically added.

Word completion/correction:
Whether you type or use gestures to add part of a word to the
text box, suggestions for the word appear below the text box in the word list. Touch a suggested
word to replace your partial entry. Corrected spellings for typos also display.
n
Word suggestion:
After you enter a space in your message, the next word is suggested for you
in the bar below the message.
