• PTT Button (if set to be used)
• Notification LEDs
• Wireless communication.
2 To exit Suspend mode, press and release the Power button.

Setting Suspend Mode Timeout
When and where to use: Use this procedure to set the period of inactivity before suspend mode
occurs.
Procedure:
1 From the Home screen, tap: → → Display → Sleep .
2 Select the inactivity duration before Suspend mode becomes active.

Covert Mode
In the Covert Mode , the device goes dark and quiet. All visible and audible alerts and notifications are
shut down. This feature makes the LEX device effectively unnoticeable even in a silent and dark
environment.
In Covert Mode , the following sounds, visual indications, and keys are disabled:
• Display brightness
• Touchscreen
• Keylight
• LED indications
• Vibration
• Speaker audio
NOTICE: In Covert Mode , sound is routed to a Bluetooth headset, if connected or sound is
routed to a wired earpiece, if connected. Alternatively, sound is routed to the earpiece.
• Tone indications
