Alternatively, you may enable the target system to reset the L1EVS. To
do so:
•
Reposition the L1EM P4 jumper between pins 2 and 3, and
•
Insert a fabricated jumper into platform-board header J3.
3.1.2
Frequency Select Header (P5)
Jumper header P5 determines the frequency of the L1EM clock source.
There are eight possible choices of frequencies and the user can select
one of them by installing a jumper across the appropriate jumper header
pins. The diagram below shows the factory configuration: the factory
configuration has a fabricated jumper installed between pins 1 and 2.
(i.e. selects the 4.00 MHz clock source.)
