Supported Software (What You Need)

In order to use the Missing Sync for Android, you need the following:

A Windows PC running XP, Vista (32-bit only), or Windows 7 (32-bit or
64–bit) and Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 (32-bit)

A Mac OS 10.5.6 Leopard or later, or Snow Leopard running
Entourage 2004, 2008, or Apple iCal

iTunes or Windows Media Player to sync media

An active Internet connection

Three free apps for your DROID to fully take advantage of the synced
data. All three are available in the Android

Market

app.

The Missing Sync for Android

Fliq Calendar

(Required for a 2-way calendar sync)

Fliq Notes

(Required to sync notes)

NOTE:

At the time of publishing, the Missing Sync for Android did not support Office 2011 for

Mac.

Before You Install

We highly recommend doing the following:

Turning off any other sync applications that are syncing to Outlook.

Making a backup copy of your Outlook Data File. See the “How to
Backup Your Outlook Data” section in this chapter.

Downloading and Installing PC or Mac Software

There is no free trial available of the Missing Sync, so you need to purchase it in order to
download it.

Buy and download the software from the www.markspace.com site.

Double-click the downloaded file to get the installation started.
