Reinstalling the Cavity Combiner
The RFDS contains static-sensitive modules. Take precautionary measures to
prevent static discharge damage when servicing the RFDS. Refer to
"Static Precautions and ESD Strap"
for recommended precautions.

How to Remove the Cavity Combiner

Switch OFF the Power Supply Unit.

Remove the door of the cabinet completely.

Remove the three screws (two on the left and one on the right) fastening the Cavity Combiner to
the brackets of the cabinet.

Remove all TX and signal cables.
The Cavity Combiner can weigh up to 11.8 kg (26 lbs.). Use caution
when removing or installing Cavity Combiner into equipment rack.
Make sure the combiner is fully supported when free from mounting
rails to avoid injury to personnel and equipment damage.

Slide out the Cavity Combiner.
Reinstalling the Cavity Combiner
To install the FRU follow:
•
to insert the Cavity Combiner into the cabinet.
•
to update the mapping list with the new unit TrackID, only for ATCC.
The Cavity Combiner can weigh up to 11.8 kg (26 lbs.). Use caution when
removing or installing Cavity Combiner into the equipment rack. Make
sure the combiner is fully supported when free from mounting rails to
avoid injury to personnel and equipment damage.
