Configuring Communications Parameters
Set communications parameters on the terminal or PC with terminal emulation
software as listed in
Table 2-1 .
Connecting a Console Monitor
To connect a terminal or PC to the BSR 2000, follow these steps and refer to
Figure 2-12 .
1. Connect one end of a shielded RS-232 crossover (null modem) cable to the
RS-232 port on the terminal or PC.
2. Connect the other end of the shielded cable (with the female DB-9 pin connector)
to the male DB-9 pin connector labeled Console Port on the front panel of the
BSR 2000.
