temporary group calls
You can set up a temporary group call to a set of PTT
contacts already in your PTT contact list. A
temporary
group
is a new group that you define for a single call
and is not stored as a group in the PTT contact list.
Note:
To make PTT calls, you must set
PTT Mode
to
On
(see page 52).

Press the PTT Key to access the
PTT Contact List
.

Press the Right Soft Key (
Options
).

Select
Temp PTT Group
and press the center of the
Directional Key (
) (
OK
).

Press the center of the Directional Key (
) (
ADD
) to
add new members.

Select members from your PTT contacts by
pressing the center of the Directional
Key (
) (
MARK
). When finished adding members,
press the Left Soft Key (
DONE
).

Press and hold the PTT Key to make a barge call to
the group you just defined.
Note:
After you define a temporary group for the first
time, your phone automatically includes the PTT
contacts from that group in the next temporary group
you define. For your next temporary group call, you can
add and remove PTT contacts as desired.

If you decide you want to
keep a temporary
group
, you can save it as a permanent group: In the
