The indicators for Numeric and Symbol entry modes are:
To set your primary and secondary text entry modes,
in any text entry view, press Options > Change Text Mode and
select Primary or Secondary .
iTAP® method
The iTAP software combines your key presses into
common words, and predicts each word.
When you enter three or more characters in a row,
your phone will guess the rest of the word. For
example, if you press

, your screen
shows:
If you want a different word (such as Progress ), continue
pressing keypad keys to enter the remaining letters.
Tip: Don’t worry if you forget how iTAP works. In a
text entry display, you can press Options > Text Setup
> Text Tutorial to see an explanation.
