Using Your Phone

Using Your SIM Card

SIM Card Insertion

The SIM card can be inserted into the phone at any time,
before or after the phone is switched on.

Insert the SIM card into the slot in the base of the phone, as
shown.

If the SIM card is inserted the wrong way round, or damaged,
the 

Check Card

 message may be displayed. Remove the

SIM card, check that it is the right way round and then
re-insert it into the phone.

Charging of Your Battery While Travelling

Your wall adapter can be connected directly to your phone for
convenient battery charging while travelling.

A

Typical charge times for the Internal Charger are:

Super Slim NiCd: 35 minutes
Ultra Slim NiCd: 41 minutes.

You can leave your phone switched on while the battery is
being charged, or press 

S

 to switch the phone off. In this

case, the message 

Charging Battery

 will be displayed on

your phone. You cannot make or receive calls while this
message is displayed.

You must ensure that the mains voltage, of the country to
which you are travelling, matches your wall adapter ratings.
