Reach Other
Radios
Buildings, lots of trees, and use in buildings and in cars or trucks
will keep your radio from reaching other radios. Check for clear
straight line to other radio(s).
Wearing radio close to body, like in a pocket or on a belt, will
decrease range. Change where you have the radio.
Too Much Noise
Radios too close. Radios must be at least 5 feet apart; move
farther apart.
Radios too far apart. Move closer to other radio.
Buildings, lots of trees, and use in buildings and in cars or trucks
will keep your radio from reaching other radios. Change where
you are.
