To locate the battery compartment, turn the scale so that the glass is down and
all four scale rubber feet are up and closest to you. Position the scale so that the
area closest to you, has a recessed housing of 2 round buttons.
To the right is a round area which is the speaker.
On the opposite end of where the speaker is located, their are two other scale
rubber feet.
On the far end away from the speaker, located on the right side, the rubber foot.
On that surface, is also the door of the battery compartment.
The cover for the compartment, slides away from the rubber scale foot, and will
expose the area for the two batteries.
To insert the batteries, take the flat end of each battery and place it against each
of the springs. Once both batteries are inserted, replace the battery cover.
Now, lay the scale down onto a flat and stable surface. Scale is now ready for

To the immediate left of the speaker, their is an oval area where two small
buttons are recessed. The button closest to the speaker is the On/off button.
