Before operating the pressure washer check the oil level of the pump. The oil level
should be at the center of the sight glass on the side of the pump. Add SAE 15W-40 non
detergent oil if required.
Assembly Instructions:
Your pressure washer is almost ready to use. You will need to install the handle with the
fasteners supplied. Connect high pressure hose to pressure washer gun assembly, and wand
and nozzle assembly to end of gun. The other end of high pressure hose should be attached to
pump. Attach garden hose to brass garden hose adapter
. Fill Engine with proper type and
amount of oil do not operate without oil as damage can and will occur.
This is not
covered by warranty. In a well ventilated area, fill gasoline tank with clean fresh unleaded
gasoline.
Soap Injection:
Your pressure washer has an automatic soap injection system. To use, connect plastic chemical
tube to soap injection nipple and place the strainer on other end of tube. This will go into a
container of liquid detergent. Soap injection only works when the nozzle is at low pressure. If
your washer has a variable nozzle you will push the nozzle all the way forward for low
pressure. Twisting for a fan spray is not low pressure. If you have interchangeable tips, you
will need to put in the one with a large opening for low pressure.
Maintenance and Storage:
To extend the life of your pressure washer, change the pump oil after 5 hours of use and every
50 hours thereafter. Drain the oil and refill with SAE 15 W -40 non detergent oil. SAE 30W
oil may be used if the pump is completely drained and filled with fresh oil.
Your pump is equipped with a water inlet screen. The screen is located in or behind the garden
hose connection. The screen should be periodically checked and cleaned. Excessive buildup of
lime or other materials can severely restrict water flow into the pump. Take care when
removing and cleaning to not damage screen. Do not operate without a screen in place as
foreign particles entering the pump may damage the pump.
Always store your pressure washer in a location where the temperature will not fall below
32 degrees F. The pump is susceptible to permanent damage if frozen.
Freeze damage is not
covered by warranty.
If you must store in a location which is below the freeze point, you can minimize the risk
of damage to your machine by utilizing the following procedure.
1.
Shut off water supply and relieve pressure in the spray gun by depressing the trigger.
Disconnect the garden hose from the washer, leave the high pressure hose connected.
2.
Tip the unit on its side with the inlet connection pointing up.
