Using with coffee 
pods

Note: This coffee machine can
use  both ‘soft and ‘hard’ coffee
pods. When using ‘hard’ coffee
pods use the special pod filter
holder

Select the required filter

for

‘hard’ pod or 

for ‘soft’ pod

and place in the filter holder.

Remove the espresso pod from
the packaging.

Place the coffee pod in the filter

Ï

. Ensure that the flap is

placed inside the filter.

Note: If any part of the pod,
including the flap, is outside the
filter holder the sealing system
will not function properly. This
will affect the functioning of the
machine and the coffee quality.

Place the filter holder 

on the

brewing head 

and position

the handle so it points left.
Ensure the filter holder is flat
against the brewing head and
turn the handle towards the right

Place a pre-heated cup below
the outlet holes of the filter
holder.

Note: One coffee pod has the
measured amount of coffee for
one single espresso. When the
coffee is at the correct
temperature the 

sign will be

displayed.

Move the lever down to the
coffee setting. You will hear the
machine make a pumping noise,
this is normal.

Once the cup is filled to the
desired level, move the lever
back to the off position. Water
will still filter through for
approximately 8 seconds after
the lever has been moved to the
off position.

Carefully remove the filter holder
by turning the handle

To remove the pod from the
filter, push the filter lock 

forward over the edge of the
filter and turn the filter holder
upside down, gently tap out the
pod.

Once the 

sign shows, your

machine is ready to make the
next espresso.

Note: It is normal for the
symbols on the display to cycle
on and off during the water heat
up process.
