SETTING THE TOOL COORDINATE SYSTEM WITH GEOMETRY
OFFSET
This section describes the procedure for setting the distance between the workpiece zero point
and the tip point of each tool with the turret returned to the machine zero point.
Clamp a blank workpiece and mount the cutting tools that are actually used for cutting in the turret
head before carrying out the following operation.
Before setting the distance indicated above, follow the steps explained in 3 "PREPARATION FOR
SETTING THE COORDINATE SYSTEM".
For the standard specification, the values to be input for geometry offset are all negative
values.

data for the workpiece and cutting tools shown below.
