Interference Check
It is necessary to determine the axis movable range (turret 1 Z-axis) of the tailstock for the
operation when it is moved by the saddle 1.
If a command given to move the connected unit causes positioning outside the movable range
determined by the NC, an NC alarm is generated and axis motion stops.
Alarm 500
Overtravel exceeding the stored stroke limit in the +Z direction
Alarm 501
Overtravel exceeding the stored stroke limit in the –Z direction
Alarm 506
Overtravel exceeding the stored stroke limit in the +Z direction
Alarm 507
Overtravel exceeding the stored stroke limit in the –Z direction
<Example>
If the alarm 500, 501, 506 or 507 is displayed while the tailstock is moving, reset the alarm using
the procedure indicated below.
<To reset the alarm state>
1)
Read the alarm number and message displayed on
the screen.
2)
Place the DOOR INTERLOCK key-switch in the
NORMAL
position.
3)
Close the front door.
