HOW TO CLEAN THE DISCOLORATION / STAINS
1. Cut lemon into 4 pieces, wrap in cloth and place into the inner pot.
2. Pour in water and fill to the maximum water indicator mark.
3. Boil and allow water to stand for about 1 hour.
4. Drain water and use a soft sponge to clean discoloured areas.
5. Boil another pot of water and drain to remove lemon odour.
CLEAN WATER SPOTS
1. It is normal for brown/white water spots to appear after boiling with the cooker. Water spots are
caused by the presence of minerals in the water.
2. When water is heated for long periods, minerals such as calcium will tend to accumulate on the
heating elements.
3. Use either citric acid, ordinary white vinegar or lemon to remove these spots.
CLEAN CRUSTED OR FOOD BUILD-UP
1. Soak pot in warm, soapy water for a few hours or preferably overnight.
2. Alternatively, scrub vigorously using a scouring pad. Take note not to use steel wool or copper-based
scrubbers and abrasive detergents as these may damage the exterior finishing.
CLEAN BODY & TOP COVER
1. Wipe body using a damp cloth.
2. Do not immerse in water or other liquids to avoid electrical damage.
3. Do not use abrasive detergents, gasoline and turpentine cleansers as these may damage the
surface.
4. Wash the top cover with water or dishwasher.
STORAGE
1. Ensure appliance is thoroughly cleaned and dried.
2. Cover it with a plastic bag to prevent pests from getting into it.
