7. Push START/STOP button to start measurement (the device
will switch on; after an initial test making the display show all the
characters, the cuff will automatically inflate).
NOTE
The cuff’s initial inflation pressure is 190 mmHg. If the
patient’s Systolic pressure is higher than the cuff’s initial
inflation pressure, the device will automatically further inflate
the cuff.
8. When the cuff is inflated, the internal compressor will stop and
the pressure measurement will start, slowly deflating the cuff
(during deflating, the symbol will blink on the display to
show heart rate).
9. Stand totally still during the whole pressure measurement.
10.When the measurement is finished, the following results will be
shown on the display:
• Systolic pressure (SYS)
• Diastolic pressure (DIA)
• Beats per minute (PULSE)
• Classification of values according to standard WHO/OMS (World
Health Organization)
• Indicator of irregular beats (Arrhythmia)
NOTE
This symbol will be shown only if the device detects two or
more irregular beats during measurement.
