Alumni 2 satellites
Alumni’s incredible little satellites use
Mordaunt-Short’s latest generation 89mm
CPC™ mid/bass driver for superior sound
reproduction and extremely low distortion.
Combined with our renowned 25mm
aluminium dome tweeter for razor sharp
resolution, you’re sure of awesome
performance. The curved shape of the
cabinet discourages the build up of
standing waves for a cleaner and more
realistic all round sound, while its simple
connection plate features easy fit
terminals.
Alumni 5 centre
Mordaunt-Short is an advocate of the
need for a dedicated centre speaker
design and Alumni 5 is perfectly voiced
for the demands of dialogue in films
which require crisp clean treble and high
levels of detail for precise reproduction.
But the centre is also adept at recreating
a broad and openly natural soundstage
when playing music in surround mode. It
is also magnetically shielded and can be
placed close to screens without
interference and comes with an infinitely
adjustable plinth.
Alumni 9 subwoofer
If you want substantial bass in your
movies and music, then the remarkably
compact Alumni 9 subwoofer provides
all the bottom end you could possibly
need. Using a totally new 203mm ultra
long throw woofer, the sub outputs
a whopping 120W of power for the
cleanest response and reproduction of
the lowest frequencies. Action scenes
have never sounded so good! Low and
high level inputs, phase control and
volume/frequency filter complete this
impressive sub.
