counter (G) in motion. Pressing a second time stops the chronograph
function.
(P2) Returning the chronograph to zero. Pressing once returns the three
chronograph hands (large second hand, minute counter, hour counter) to
zero. This function only works when the chronographs have already
been stopped (see P1). Operating this function when the chronograph is
running can damage your watch.
Sports Collection:
The Montblanc Sports Collection (with diving function) was created to
meet the needs of non-professional divers and demanding sportsmen. It
is designed for water resistance to 200 m and equipped with special
diving features. These models are very robust, and the various protection
system guarantee maximum protection and peace of mind.
Crown:
The Montblanc crown is screwed down and shock-protected by the
shape of the case..Before using the crown to wind up the watch
(automatic movements) or make adjustments (change the date or time),
the crown must be unlocked (by turning it counter-clockwise). After use,
the crown must be pushed back into the normal position (1.), then
pressed and screwed in (by turning it clockwise). Water resistance can
only be guaranteed if the crown is correctly screwed in.
Bezel:
The bezel of the case is unidirectional (it can only be turned counter-
clockwise), Equipped with a ratchet mechanism, and provides the
information required by divers: a luminous triangle, 15-minute indexes
and a mark for each 5-minute interval. In order to calculate the remaining
diving time, align the triangle with the minute hand (A) before starting
your dive. The brezel will show the number of minutes wich have
elapsed.
Push-buttons:
The push-buttons may be operated during diving.
Note:
The high-contrast design of the dial and the hands guarantees good
visibility in any situation. The indexes and the hands are luminous in
order to ensure visibility at night and when diving.
