Locate and download the zip file with the updated firmware. Note the location you
download it to.

Navigate to the directory with the downloaded zip file, then extract the file.

Plug one end of a micro USB cable into the FW/DC 5V port on the rear panel, then
plug the other end into an available USB port on your PC.

From the desktop, double click My Computer. A new drive named BOOTDISK is
listed.
8.
Copy the extracted .bin update file to the BOOTDISK drive.
9.
The switch will automatically restart, then will update the firmware.
10.
Unplug the micro USB cable from the switch and your PC.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Q1: There is video on the display from all source devices except one.
A1: Verify that the video source device is powered on and that video material is being
played. Check the HDMI® cable connection at each end. Try swapping the video cable
with a known good one.
Q2: There is no video on the display for any source device.
A2: Verify that the display is powered on and the correct input is selected. Check the
HDMI cable connection at each end. Try swapping the video cable with a known good
one.
Q3: The POWER LED on the splitter is off.
A3: Verify that the AC adapter is plugged into the FW/DC 5V port on the splitter and is
plugged into an AC power outlet. Verify that the AC power outlet is live by plugging in
a different device, such as a lamp. Try using a different 2A USB power source, such as a
wall charger and a Micro USB cable.
