Controls and Jacks
Figure 3 shows the front panel of the MS5 including all of the controls and all of
the jacks other than Power.

Controls
The control are described in this section.
Input
Input level sets instrument signal gain. For maximum
signal to noise ratio, set this control as high as
possible before distortion.
Range
VCO range selection of High, Medium, Low, and Very
Low frequency. The high and medium are audio range
frequencies. The low and very low are subsonic frequency
ranges.
Waveform
VCO waveform selection of Triangle, Sine, Square, and
Sawtooth. The Sawtooth waveform is most accurate in
the audio frequency ranges.
