Bluetooth Headset

These instructions are intended for users 
without any specific technical knowledge. 
Please read the instructions carefully prior 
to operation and keep them for later ref-
erence.

1  Applications

SONIDO, the stereo headphones with built-in 
microphone are primarily designed for com-
munication and media reproduction with a 
computer (tablet computer, mobile phone). 
The audio signals are transmitted via wireless 
Bluetooth technology. A rechargeable battery 
is integrated for power supply.

Alternatively, for use as passive headphones, 

connect SONIDO via a cable to the headphone 
output of an amplifier, computer or MP3 / CD 
player, for example.

SONIDO can be folded to save space and is 

supplied with a practical transport case, charg-
ing cable and audio cable.

2  Safety Notes

The product corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with  .

CAUTION

Never adjust a very high vol-
ume. Permanent high volumes 
may damage your hearing!

• 

The product is suitable for indoor use only. 
Protect it against dripping water, splash 
water and high air humidity. The admissible 
ambient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.

• 

For cleaning the product, only use a dry, soft 
cloth; never use water or chemicals. How- 
ever, the ear cushions can also be cleaned 
with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

• 

No guarantee claims for the product and no 
liability for any resulting personal damage 
or material damage will be accepted if the 
product is not correctly used or not expertly 
repaired.

If the product is to be put out of  
operation definitively, dispose of the 
product in accordance with local reg-
ulations.

3  Charging the Battery

1) Slide the switch (3) to the position “OFF”.
2) Use the cable provided to connect the 

 

micro-USB port (4) to a 5 V power supply 
unit or to the USB port of a computer.
The LED (6) lights red while charging and 
goes out when the battery has been fully 
charged.

3) Remove the charging cable.

Notes:

 

– Bluetooth transmission is not possible while charging. 

However, the headphones can be used via the 3.5 mm 
jack (7) (chapter 4.2).

 

– To maintain its capacity, charge the battery at least 

every 3 months.

4  Operation

4.1  Bluetooth mode

1) Switch on SONIDO: Slide the switch (3) to 

the position “ON”.
When the headphones are ready for Blue-
tooth pairing and connection, there will be 
an announcement: “Power on, the Blue-
tooth device is ready to pair.” The LED lights 
up blue first and then flashes alternately 
red / blue.

2) Activate the Bluetooth function on the de-

vice desired for Bluetooth connection (e. g. 
[tablet] computer, mobile phone) and select 
“SONIDO” from the list of available devices. 
Allow the two devices to connect.
If the connection has been established, there 
will be an announcement: “The Bluetooth 
device is connected successfully”. The LED 
now briefly flashes blue every 5 seconds.

Notes:

 

– If the connection has failed, the headphones will switch 

off after a few minutes.

 

–  If this is not the first time that the headphones are 

connected to this device, the headphones will connect 
automatically when they are switched on again.

3) Place the headphones on your head so that 

the control buttons are on the left and the 
microphone (5) points slightly forward. To 
adjust the headphones to the size of your 
head, the length of the headband is ad-
justable on both sides below the folding 
joints (1).

4) The replay can be started on the player or via 

the control buttons (2):

5) To save the battery, switch off SONIDO after 

use [switch (5) “OFF”].

4.2  Operation as passive headphones

The cable provided can be used to connect the 
3.5 mm jack (7) to the headphone output of 
an amplifier, computer or MP3 / CD player, for 
example. If the headphones are still switched 
on, they will switch off automatically when the 
jack is connected.
