5. Technical Description
Mollii is a multi-channel full-body suit with a low energy electrical stimulation – 20
Volt and 20 Hz. It is composed of a control unit, a jacket and a trouser, with 58 em-
bedded electrodes, in direct contact with the skin, and pre-positioned to stimulate
40 key muscle groups. The suit comes in 25 sizes, starting from 104 cm up to XXXL
woman and man.
A trained medical staff pre-programs which muscles/nerves to be stimulated based
on a clinical assessment of the user. The stimulation program is thus specific to each
user. The operator or user can then start/pause/stop the pre-programmed session,
but cannot change which muscles/nerves should be stimulated and with which
intensity.
