Configuring Parfocality After Changing Objectives

To configure parfocality, use the MetaXpress software to find valid focus values for each
objective, and then enter them into the MetaXpress Objective dialog in the Meta Imaging
Series Administrator Software. You can configure parfocality with or without the taskbar.

CAUTION! You must contact Molecular Devices Technical Support to schedule a Field
Service Engineer to install or remove a water immersion objective.

Configuring Parfocality With the Taskbar

To configure parfocality:

1. In the IX Taskbar, click System Maintenance.

Note: If the Main Taskbar is not visible, press F4.
