To prepare the wash head for storage
1.
On the
Main
tab, touch
Rinse
. Use AquaMax Sterilant, DI water,
or your usual rinsing agent.
2.
On the
Options
tab, touch
Purge
. The wash head can retain
approximately 3 cc of liquid after a purge.
3.
Release the locking lever on the wash head and lift the wash
head away from the instrument.
4.
Turn the wash head so that the inlets for the wash head are
pointing down over a folded paper towel. Avoid touching the
probes.
5.
Drain any remaining fluid from the wash head by gently tapping
the inlet end on the paper towel.
6.
Store the wash head in the provided container.

Tip:
To achieve the greatest level of dryness, you can do a
second rinse with ethanol through each of the four inlets on the
wash head to help dry the wash head and the system. Follow
, substituting ethanol as the rinse agent.
