The means of the fields for the “Modbus TCP Master” section are:
In the field “
IP Address
” the IP address of the converter is defined;
In the field “
SubNet
Mask
” the Subnet Mask of the converter is defined;
In the field “
Gateway
” the default gateway of the net is defined. This feature can be enabled or disabled pressing the Check Box
field. This feature is used for going out of the net;
In the field “
Port
” the TCP port for Modbus TCP communication of the converter is defined;
In the field “
TimeOut (ms)
” the maximum time that the converter attends for the answer from the Slave interrogated is defined;
If the option “
Don’t disconnect the socket
” is checked, the converter will hold the TCP connection opened. Otherwise. It will close
it after every request/response.
In the field “
Fix IP Address
” the IP Address of the Modbus TCP slave is defined (only if “Work with Fix IP Address” mode is set).
