2.5.4
Generator connections
Using the 6mt cable (6), perform the following operations:
1.
Connect the 10pin connector to the generator
2.
Pass the other end of the cable through the cable entry #1
3.
Perform the following connections:
a.
connect the 6mm black wire to clamp #1
b.
connect the 6mm red wire to clamp #2
c.
connect the 4mm brown wire to clamp #3
d.
connect the 4mm green wire to clamp #4
e.
connect the 0.5mm black or cyan wire to clamp #16
f.
connect the 0.5mm red or white wire to clamp #17
g.
the shielding braid of the data cable to clamps 16 and 17 must not be connected

Connect the fuel pump using the 6mt cable
The cables inserted in the round seats of the terminals must not
be tinned but must remain with the exposed copper. Eventually
use ferrules only for cables with a section of less than 2mm. To
be able to open the clamp spring, insert a slotted screwdriver in
the rectangular seat as shown and remove the screwdriver after
the cable has been positioned. Then check the perfect seal by
pulling the cable outwards
The following figure shows the connections to be made inside
the power unit

The red and black 6mm

wires coming from the generator
must not be connected to terminals 1 and 2 but to the cable
connector.
Black wire from the generator to the black of the cable
connector.
Red wire from the generator to the yellow of the cable
connector.

External water pump connection, coolant sensor and provision for flow
switch
Using the 2.5mt cable with 4-way connector (#2 pag. 15) and carry out the following operations:
1.
Connect one end of the cable to the generator using the appropriate 4-way connector
2.
Connect the two-way connector of the short cable to the cable coming from the exchanger
3.
Connect the two-pin connector of the end of the 2.5m cable directly to the external water
pump, making sure that the connection is not immersed in the water.
