To fit the armrests, remove the plugs (L3) and locate the two holes behind the seat. Adjust the armrests so that they
are fixed when bolted to the seat, but allow the width to be adjusted and folded down. Secondly, to fit the reclining
armrests, remove the plugs (L3) underneath the seat. Underneath the seat you will find two holes (L4), provided in a
way that secures these by screwing them into the chair. Secure the screws (L5). Finally, place the basket (for carrying
objects) at the front and the rear view mirror in its place.
ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE AND WARNINGS
Powered wheelchairs and motorized scooters may be susceptible to electro- magnetic interference (EMI), which is
interfering electromagnetic energy (EM) emitted from sources such a radio stations, TV stations, amateur radio (HAM)
transmitters, two-way radios, and cellular phones. The interference (from radio wave sources) can cause the motorized
scooter to release its brakes, move by itself, or move in unintended directions. It can also permanently damage the
motorized scooter control system.
1. Do not operate hand-held transceivers (transmitters-receivers), such as citizens band (CB) radios, or turn ON personal
communication devices, such as cellular phones, while the motorized scooter is turned ON.
2. Be aware of nearby transmitters, such as radio or TV stations, and try to avoid coming close to them.
3. If unintended movement or brake release occurs, turn the motorized scooter OFF as soon as it is safe.
4. Be aware that adding accessories or components, or modifying the motori- zed scooter, may make it more susceptible
to EMI.
20 volts per meter (V/m) is a generally achievable and useful immunity level against EMI (as of May 1994). The higher
the level, the greater the protection. This product has an immunity level of at least 10 V/m.
CHARGING THE BATTERIES
Batteries must be charged before using the scooter for the first time, it
should be charged at night and recharged after each day use.
First, insert battery charger cord into Charging Socket (M) on battery pack
andplug other end of power cable into a standard electrical wall outlet.
The schooter must bee turned off to be charged. Please, do not replace
the origin batteries, contact your dealer if you need to replace them. If at
any time battery charger light flashes green over 40 minutes, this indicates
abnormal charging occurred, so youu should check if charger plug is
correctly positioned or if the scooter is turned off.
DISASSEMBLING YOUR SCOOTER
1. Remove seat by pulling up Seat Rotation Lever (J). Then lift away from scooter.
2. As indication, Push Release Lever (N) backward and pull Battery Pack Handle (O), to remove batteries from scooter.
Caution: batteries are heavy.
