To install the batteries, with the wheelchair open, hook the pins on both sides of the wheelchair to the support rods
(Figure 6). This will connect the batteries to both sides of the wheelchair (Figure 6.1).
5.
Install the controller. To do so, insert the bracket into its corresponding location on the armrest, adjust the location of
the controller and tighten the adjustment bolt. Connect the wires according to the picture (Figure 7). The one marked
LEFT connects the left motor and the one marked RIGHT connects the right motor.
6.
Attach the protective strap by hooking it to the footrest bars (Figure 8).
7.
To start using the wheelchair, set the rear levers to Automatic Mode. If the levers are in Manual Mode, you will be able
to move the wheelchair manually, but not use it as a power chair.
Once you perform the installation steps described above, the wheelchair is ready for operation. To optimise battery
performance, it is recommended to first fully charge the batteries before using the wheelchair for the first time.
CHARGE
The charging port of the powerchair is located on the bottom of the controller. The wheelchair uses two 12V batteries
connected in series. To charge them, first connect the charger to the controller and then connect it to the power
supply to start charging. When the battery is discharged, the indicator will be illuminated red; once the battery is full,
it will turn green. If it is lit and flashing, the battery is charging.
