7 The MSW1
The MSW1 Single board controller. See fig. 23. The program is loaded in a EE-Prom(1). The Program is
copied from a special memory card used in slot(2). The loaded program is configuring the FPGA-
Xilings(3). Serial data output (4) is connected to the touch screen of the farmpacker.
7.1 Extra functions of the MSW1
On the MSW1 a dipswitch (SW4) is mounted for extra functions (see fig. 24) (11).
• SW4-1 On= Ghost eggs. A simulation mode is activated to adjust the drop position.
• SW4-2 On= Bar Service. The linear actuator is switched off. LED Service mode is on (See fig. 26-4)
This creates the possibility to operate the machine in case the moving bar is defective.
• SW4-3 On= Wait Henhouses. With this option a delay time of 2 sec.is build-in to delay the start of the
rod conveyor out of the chicken houses after the machine starts to run. The rot conveyour halts for 2
seconds during the ramp-up time of the farmpacker.
• SW4-4 Not used.
