DEWAR FILLING:
Carry out the following procedure to remove Liquid Nitrogen.
STOP: BEFORE PROCEEDING ENSURE PROPER EYE AND HAND PROTECTION IS
WORN
DEWAR PLACEMENT:
Place the Dewar provided with the system on the Dewar Shelf 15,
note the ‘Dewar Present’ light on the shelf must change to green. Improper
alignment may cause the system not to recognize the Dewar and Dispensing will be
disallowed.
DISPENSING
: If the unit is locked, unlock it now by carrying out the procedure on page
7.
Press and hold the ‘Dispense’ button 7. Liquid Nitrogen will begin to fill the Dewar.
Ensure the ‘Dispense’ button is released before the Dewar is completely full to avoid
overflowing or splashing.
AVOID SPILLS:
Always check the surrounding area when carrying an open vessel of
Liquid Nitrogen; contact with other people can cause serious injury. Use proper care
when handling or transporting the removed Liquid Nitrogen, MMR cannot be held
liable for accidents.
