Connecting SW 500 A to stereo amplifier.
The subwoofer can be connected either to the main speaker output terminals of
the main amplifier parallel to the main speakers using the HI-LEVEL IN input or to a
subwoofer pre out RCA jack using the LINE IN input.
Connecting SW 500 A to stereo amplifier.
The subwoofer can be connected to the subwoofer pre out RCA jack using the
LINE IN input. If there is nor subwoofer pre out RCA jack available the SW 500 A can
be connected to the main speaker output terminals of the main amplifier parallel
to the main speakers using the HI-LEVEL IN input. If so, it is recommandable to
change the speaker setup, so that the bass information of LFE channel in a 5.1
surround system are reproduced by the main speaker channels. Otherwise these
bass information may be not reproduced.

Installation and first operation:
The area of recommended location is shown in Pic. 3.
the first installation the LEVEL control should be adjusted to
MIN. After connecting the SW 500 A system and the subwoofer, the main amplifier can be turned on. Please use a moderat
sond level. Now you can turn the subwoofers POWER switch to ON. Then turn the LEVEL control clockwise to the prefered
bass volume. Turning the POWER switch to AUTO, the subwoofer will start together with your stereo or surround system.

Sind am Steuergerät keine Vorverstärker-
ausgänge vorhanden, kann der Subwoofer
hier über die Lautsprecherausgänge ange-
schlossen werden.
LINE IN
(Hohe Impedanz / High impedance)
Anschluss des Subwoofers über den Vorver-
stärkerausgang des Steuergerätes.
LEVEL
(Regler für Eingangsempfindlichkeit / Level control)
Anpassung der Lautstärke des Subwoofers an die Gesamtlautstärke.
Bei hörbaren Verzerrungen muss der Regler solange in Richtung
MIN gedreht werden, bis keine Verzerrungen mehr zu hören sind.

Schaltet den Verstärker aus, auf automatische
Einschaltung (wenn ein Musiksignal anliegt)
oder auf permanent eingeschaltet.

Connect the subwoofer using the pre-amplifier-
output (RCA jacks) of the receiver.
If the receiver does not have any pre-
amplifier-output (RCA jacks), the subwoofer
can be connected to the speaker output
using this High-Level input.
Switch can be set to Off, Auto(turns amplifier
automatically to on, if music signal reaches the
amplifier) or to permanent activated amplifier.
