Anschluss des Subwoofers über den Vorver-
stärkerausgang des Steuergerätes.
LEVEL
(Regler für Eingangsempfindlichkeit / Level control)
Anpassung der Lautstärke des Subwoofers an die Gesamtlautstärke.
Bei hörbaren Verzerrungen muss der Regler solange in Richtung MIN
gedreht werden, bis keine Verzerrungen mehr zu hören sind.

Adjusting the Level control will match the subwoofer to the output of
the receiver. If there are any distortion, please adjust the level control
counterclockwise to eliminate any distortion.
Connect the subwoofer using the pre-amplifier-
output (RCA jacks) of the receiver.
If the receiver does not have any pre-
amplifier-output (RCA jacks), the subwoofer
can be connected to the speaker output
using this High-Level input.

Two satellites should be connected to the main speaker out terminals, the center
speaker to the center output terminal and the other two satellites to the rear speaker
output terminals of the surround amplifier
The subwoofer can be connected either to a subwoofer pre out RCA jack using the
LINE IN input or to the main speaker output terminals of the main amplifier parallel
to the main speakers using the HI-LEVEL IN input.
Please do never use LINE INE and HI-LEVEL IN at the same time!
Installation and first operation:
The area of recommended location is shown in Pic. 3 .
Before the first installation the LEVEL control should be adjusted to MIN. After
connecting the HXA 5100 system and the subwoofer, the main amplifier can be
turned on. Please use a moderat sond level. Now you can turn the subwoofers
POWER switch to ON. Then turn the LEVEL control clockwise to the prefered bass
volume. Turning the POWER switch to AUTO, the subwoofer will start together with
