7) Fill with water that does not contain salt, such as tap water, well water or pond water through the
plug opening on the service lid fully. Then continue pouring at a rate of 3 litter/min for 30 minutes to
remove foreign materials from the inside of the battery.
Use a suitable tray to collect the poured water through the drain plug at the bottom of the drive battery.
(You cannot see the drain plug because it is covered with the battery protector as shown)
CAUTION;
the main drive lithium-ion battery must be properly disposed of as industrial waste according to local regulations.
8) Wait for approx. 20 minutes until the water has drained completely.
9) Raise the vehicle and then use a 12-mm wrench to remove the battery protector.
