4.3.3 Wiring instructions
Instructions for wiring the power supply cable and I/O cable.
(1) Wiring of power supply
(a) When voltage fluctuations are larger than the specified value,
connect a constant-voltage transformer.
(b) Use a power supply which generates minimal noise between
wires and between the PLC and ground. If excessive noise is
generated, connect an insulating transformer.
(c) When a power transformer or insulating transformer is
employed to reduce the voltage from 200 VAC to 100 VAC,
use one with a capacity greater than those indicated in the
following table.
(d) Separate the programmable controller’s power supply line
from the lines for I/O devices and power devices as shown
below.
When there is much noise, connect an insulation transformer.
