Cleaning of the filter
Clean dust from the filter.
Before cleaning the filter, be sure to turn off the main
power switch of the projector and unplug the power
cord from the outlet.
Clean the filter frequently (at least once a month).
Dust settling on the filter causes the temperature
inside the projector to increase abnormally, damaging
the internal parts and components and affecting the
panel’s lifetime, resulting in a breakdown.
• When the temperature inside the projector is
abnormally high, the projector may automatically
turn off and go into the standby mode where the
light source lamps are off to protect the internal
parts and components.
1. Loosen the screw (a) that is securing the filter cover
using a Philips screwdriver and remove the filter
cover (b) from the projector.

2. Remove the filter holder (c).

3. Remove the filter (d).
(d)
4. Suck dirt and dust from the filter and projector
using a vacuum cleaner.
5. Attach the filter (d).

6. Attach the filter holder (c).
(c)
7. Insert the filter cover (b) into the projector and
tighten the screw (a) on the filter cover firmly using
a Philips screwdriver.
