Oil and filter change intervals depend upon how
you use your vehicle. Operation under the
following conditions may require more frequent
oil and filter changes:

repeated short distance driving at cold
outside temperatures
.
driving in dusty conditions
. extensive idling
. stop and go commuting

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
REFRIGERANT AND LUBRI-
CANT RECOMMENDATIONS
The air conditioning system in your
Mitsubishi Motors vehicle must be charged
with the specified refrigerant and compres-
sor oil or equivalent. See the air conditioner
specification label. (See “Air conditioner
specification label” (P.10-13).)

A/C system oil ND-OIL12(PAG) or equiva-
lent
CAUTION
The use of any other refrigerant or oil may
cause severe damage to the air conditioning
system and may require the replacement of all
air conditioner system components.
The refrigerant HFO-1234yf (R-1234yf) in your
Mitsubishi Motors vehicle will not harm the
earth’s ozone layer. Although this refrigerant
does not affect the earth’s atmosphere, certain
governmental regulations require the recovery
and recycling of any refrigerant during auto-
motive air conditioning system service. A
authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer has the
trained technicians and equipment needed to
recover and recycle your air conditioning
system refrigerant.
It is recommended you visit an authorized
Mitsubishi Motors dealer when servicing your
air conditioning system.
