Resetting the values
You can reset the values of brightness, contrast and
functions.

Turn off the power.

While pressing the
FUNC
button, turn on the power.

The display by the indicator changes from

, and the values are reset to the
default setting.
The user setting values are not reset with this operation.
User setting
This unit can memorize the settings which you adjusted to
meet the operating conditions of the connected devices and
the print quality conditions as the "user setting". When you
change the setting by mistake, you can correct it with a
simple operation.
Memorizing the user setting

The service personnel of this unit memorizes the settings. Contact your dealer.

Automatic restoration to the standby status from the adjust-
ment or setting mode
When left without any operation of buttons, control, and
switches except the SIZE switch under the following condi-
tions for more than 20 seconds, this unit automatically re-
turns to the standby status (Indicator display :
).
In this case, the newly set value is not memorized and the
setting goes back to the value that was set before change.
