10. Removing the drain pan
(1) Remove the air intake grilles. (See Figure 1, 2)
(2) Remove the side panels (right and left). (See Figure 4, 5)
(3) Remove the under panel. (See Photo 12)
(4) Remove each drain pan fixing screw (4
×
10 ST) (right
and left). (See Photo 13)
(5) Remove 2 insulations in the centre of the drain pan, 2
washer-based screws, and then the drain pan. (See
Photo 14, 15)
<Caution>
Beware of some drainage that may remain in the drain
pan when you remove the drain pan.

9. Removing the under panel
(1) Remove the air intake grilles. (See Figure 1, 2)
(2) Remove the side panels (right and left). (See Figure 4, 5)
(3) Remove the beam. (See Photo 1)
(4) Remove the electric box cover. (See Photo 1)
(5) Pull down the electric box. (See Photo 2)
(6) Remove the wireless receiver connector (CN90) and the
clamp and the cable strap that hold the connector.
(7) Remove 8 under panel fixing screws (4
×
10 ST) and
remove the under panel by sliding approx. 10 mm to the
front.
<Caution>
Hold the under panel by hand to avoid it from falling.
For safety reasons, this procedure must be performed
by two persons.
11. Removing the thermistors/Liquid pipe (TH2) and con-
denser/evaporator (TH5)
(1) Remove the air intake grille. (See Figure 1, 2)
(2) Remove the left and right side panels. (See Figure 4, 5)
(3) Remove the under panel. (See Photo 12)
(4) Remove the drain pan. (See Photo 13, 14, 15)
(5) Disconnect the connector CN44 (white) from the indoor
controller board.
(6) Remove 6 screws from the pipe cover and remove the
pipe cover. (See Photo 13, 16)
(7) Remove the fastener for wires and remove the thermistors
(TH2 and TH5) from each holder. (See Photo 17)
