Program cache memory
(1) Definition
This memory is for program operation
.
The CPU module transfers a program from the program memory to the program cache memory for
operation.
The program is transferred from the program memory to the program cache memory during:
• initial processing after the CPU module is powered on, or
• initial processing after the CPU module is reset.
Figure 5.5 provides the flow of program operations.
